We are a competitive snowboard & freeski competition series. Riders/Skiers compete for points. Points are awarded based on final results of each event for each discipline.
Riders compete to earn a coveted spot in the United States Of America Snowboard Association National Championships. (see complete rules at www.usasa.org)
All Events are USASA Sanctioned.
All USASA age classes compete for USASA National Points. Age Class winners and previous Nationals Gold Medal Winners are the only athletes guaranteed a spot to compete at the National Championships
At Nationals, Competitors compete for individual event medals and titles as well as medals for Overall Freestyle (halfpipe & slopestlye combined scores), Overall Alpine (slalom & giant slalom times combined), and the Triple Overall Champion medal and title (this includes combined scores for slopestyle, halfpipe, giant slalom, slalom, and boardercross)
In the past, the Gold and Silver winners in the Men’s Open and Women’s Open have been invited to compete at the following years X-Games and the US Open..
Competitors can compete in just one or all 6 disciplines. - That’s right! USASA added RAIL JAMS as an exhibition event this season!
Rail Jams - show us your best rail skills in timed heats! Rail Jam age brackets are: 12 and Under and 13 and Over (boys and girls & skiers and snowboarders will all have separate brackets.)

Each season, over 10,000 beginner, intermediate and expert riders, ages four to 74, compete in 32 separate divisions in 31 regional series. They are all competing to earn a chance to participate in the USASA National Championships.
The USASA developed many of today’s top names in snowboarding including Shaun White, Danny Kass, Mason Aguirre, Molly Aguirre, Hannah Teter and many other past Olympians. This year’s National events could predict the next great athletes to come.
Awards ceremonies, medals, & sponsor product give-a-ways at each event!
