Everyone has to start somewhere...
Hannah Teter placed 6th in the Youth Women Superpipe event at the 2001 USASA National Championships at Mammoth Mountain.
Five years later she won the gold at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games! That is some great incentive for anyone who dreams of being the best.
Where did Hannah get her start? The same place that all the top US pros did, competing in the USASA.
You could be next...

“USASA gave me a strong foundation of confidence and courage, without those two things I would not be where I am at today.” - Kimmi Fasani
“I competed in a ton of USASA contests... I always got dead last, I don’t think I ever got 1 medal... but it’s fun and you get to meet people,
and ride good jumps! it’s all about just entering, don’t worry about the rest.” - Eddie Wall
“If it were not for USASA I would have never broke out of Fresno. USASA has the competition ladder to get you to the top.
Their events have pulled so much talent together from many places where kids otherwise would never have a chance.” - Andy Finch
“I went to the first USASA nationals and several after that. It was my first big snowboard trip/event and a place
I got to test my riding against the best in my age group from all over the country.” - -Ross Powers
“I grew up riding in the green mountain series in southern Vermont, it gave me great experience that
led me to where I am today.” - Kelly Clark
“It all started with USASA. Without it, who knows where I would be today!” - Joanie Anderson
“Those weekends events, turned into national events, into international events, into a professional snowboarding career.
It’s been such a blast watching my friends progress, and share the dream! We all started in the USASA. I have
so many amazing memories with the USASA and have made lifelong friends!” - Chanelle Sladics
